Job Description
JMA Solutions has an opportunity available for an Air Traffic Control Specialist supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's AJR System Operations organization. This person must be able to work well in a team setting, possess organizational skills, and demonstrated ability to excel and deliver results. This position is on the location site 5 days a week. The Contractor must provide traffic management expertise and support to the Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSCC) to include general analytical, Quality Control (QC), airspace planning, automation development, procedures management, logistical, and planning support in response to operational needs. This is an on site position, without telework.

SALARY: $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and education levels. Job Description
JMA Solutions has an opportunity available for an Air Traffic Control Specialist supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's AJR System Operations organization. This is an on site position, without telework.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Air Traffic and Traffic Management expertise on a wide array of initiatives
(e.g., Space Operations, UAS, Joint Air Traffic Operations Command (JATOC), Plan/Execute/Review/Train/Improve (PERTI); - Conduct an analysis of traffic management initiatives for the previous day in the National Airspace System (NAS), special events, space launch/recovery operations, and address Stakeholder inquires;
- Identify and address operational risks related to development of new policy and procedures in support of interactions among FAA, ATO, and Industry Stakeholders;
- Provide critical thinking related to management and operational challenges and develop/recommend effective and efficient mitigating strategies:
- Contribute to integration working groups, sub-team, and table top efforts involving traffic management-centric projects, programs, and initiatives throughout the Air Traffic Organization;
- Support the review and recommend updates for Standard Operating Procedures;
- Coordinate and consult with identified stakeholders on the development, implementation, and maintenance of NAS Operational capabilities, plans, data, automation concepts and capabilities, and processes;
- Monitor and analyze a wide array of traffic management data and events and produce reports, findings, recommendations, and/or briefings to communicate actionable information;
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Higher education preferred but not required.
- FAA ATC experience required
- FAA QC staff support and/or Traffic Management experience highly recommended
- FAA ATCSCC experience highly recommended
- Have competent skills with office tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Possess skills to problem solve in team environment.
- Proven knowledge of FAA procedures and airspace.
- Available for travel
- Must be a US citizen and meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust.
