Flight Operations Dispatcher for Legend Airlines

First2 Resource is looking for Flight Operations Dispatchers on behalf of our client Legend Airlines.  

Legend Airlines is an EU-registered airline, established in 2020 and based in Bucharest, Romania. Their fleet consists of Airbus A340 family aircraft, the only ones available in Romania and ready for charter and ACMI flights.

Role Requirements:  
•    Flight dispatcher training. A valid flight dispatcher license (CAA authorized) will be considered as an asset
•    Experience in an aviation operational environment, preferably OCC
•    Computer literate: Proficient in MS Office
•    Excellent communication skills in English (other EU language are advantages)
•    Analytical skills, creative thinking, problem solving, decision making and flexibility, with good communication and negotiation skills, who is able to work under pressure
•    Willing to work in shiftwork / Day and Night / Including Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays
•    Willing to learn and to develop further inside the organization
•    Right to live and work in EU

Main Duties:
•    Flight Planning and Dispatch: Preparing, evaluating, and releasing flight plans in compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
•    Operational Coordination: Monitoring and managing the airline’s daily flight schedule, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions.
•    Disruption Management: Implementing recovery strategies during operational irregularities, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to minimize impact.
•    Communication: Serving as a central point of contact for flight crews, OCC team, and other operational departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.
•    Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all operations adhere to safety regulations, airline standards, and applicable laws.
•    Performance Monitoring: Tracking flight performance metrics and identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
•    Continuous Learning: Staying updated with industry developments and furthering your expertise within the organization.
