Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic, Global Engine Support

Based at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), HAECO Hong Kong offer a full range of services including airframe services, line services, component services, engine services, inventory technical management, cabin solutions, freighter conversions, technical training and AOG support.

Pursue correct technical solutions, composing tasks which include correct preloaded parts and other technical details to be fed to the mechanics and engineers on the flight line for accomplishment, with the intent to effectively rectify defects and maintain airplane health, thereby enhancing flight safety and operational reliability.&nbsp;

<h3>What You'll Do</h3>

<ul>
	<li>
	Perform defect analysis on each captured defect&nbsp;
	</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Compose defect solution or next task (work instruction)&nbsp;
	</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Identify and order required spares for rectification and preloading&nbsp;
	</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Identify required tools/equipment for rectification&nbsp;
	</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Estimate TRT/MH for each defect and set planning attributes&nbsp;
	</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Evaluate defects for eligibility to transfer to CFI&nbsp;
	</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Review restrictive defect and perform technical follow up action&nbsp;
	</li>
	<li>
	monitor and maintain ADD KPIs within target levels&nbsp;
	</li>
	<li>monitor and drive timely rectification of defects that are a customer priority&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
	<li>communicating effectively with Maintenance Control, MC-Support Group, Tech Svs, Line Maintenance, COE DM Planning in order to induce all data around a defect and compose a defect solution.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<h3>What You Need</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Knowledge of OEM trouble shooting aids and maintenance documentation&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Analytical, result-oriented, customer focused and good project management skills&nbsp;</li>
	<li>A&nbsp;good team player with strong supervisory skills and communication skills&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Sound knowledge in using MS Office application e.g. Word, Excel, Access&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Excellent command of English, both spoken and written&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Holder of valid HKCAD B2 basic license or any NAA B2 basic license eligible for conversion exemptions as per HKAR-66 section 4 Appendix XVIII. 	<li>A minimum of 5 years of LM or BM working expexperience, preferably hold B2 approval with type aircraft of B747-400, B748, B777, A350, A330, A330NEO or completed full type course and practical training.&nbsp;</li>
