Your mission

As an experienced sheet metal worker, you will perform a wide range sheet metal work on aircrafts, both new construction (VIP, SMA) and repairs. Within the position of sheet metal worker you have the following tasks: You inspect, repair, modify and maintain aircrafts. You document deviations and manage tools and machines. You propose methods to improve efficiency and safety. It is critical to ensure that aircraft operate safely and efficiently. Where necessary, you will guide/on the job train junior sheet metal worker.

Your luggage

You have +5 years’ experience as sheet metal worker within a civil and/or military aircraft maintenance surrounding. You also have excellent manual dexterity and strong communication skills in English, both oral and written, and you can read and understand technical English. You have your own EU based (self-employed) company or are willing to set-up your own EU based company. 

Your flight plan

Fokker Techniek offers contracts (6 to 12 months) with excellent conditions on contractor base. 

During your first days we will evaluate your skills as a sheet metal worker and where necessary offer (specific) in-house sheet metal training courses to expand your knowledge & experience to the required senior level. By doing so, we are not only guaranteeing a successful deployment within the company but also expend your skills set!
