Requirements:
- We are looking for a driven, independent, self-motivated, and flexible person with a positive attitude, who loves to drive business and interacting with people while having a flair for asset management
- University degree preferred; master or bachelor, with several years’ experience in relevant field
- Sound knowledge of airline setup
- Capable of addressing technical, operational, and commercial issues
- Good commercial, contract and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively manage complexity
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, driving results and processes
- Diligent and systematic working approach
- Excellent communication skills & to communicate successfully with people on all levels in different departments
- Good knowledge of MS office is a must, AMOS, SAP, Clarity know-how a plus
- Experience in the aircraft OEM & leasing industry is a plus
- Experience in financial modelling, particularly in the areas of aircraft/engine management
- Fluent in English & German is a plus

Tasks:
- Aircraft Asset Management is accountable for the SWISS Aircraft Capacity Management, Phase-In and Phase-Out, as well as the Purchasing, Leasing, Remarketing and Insuring of our Aircraft and Engine Portfolio
- Manage the SWISS aircraft & engine portfolio lifecycle
- Oversee local aspects of Sale and Leaseback projects (end-of-lease management, risk management, internal governance, alignment with Lufthansa Group)
- Ensure compliance with all contractual rights and obligations towards lessors
- Prepare/Lead commercial negotiations for aircraft and engines (owned and leased)
- Coordinate aircraft & engine delivery, redelivery or sale activities, including contractual acceptance/return, financial & commercial management and settlements
- Calculate/Present business cases for aircraft asset management projects (purchases, leases, sales)
- Develop/Maintain relationships with lessors, manufacturers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Actively manage aircraft capacity and fleet planning
