Aircraft Engineer (temporary contract up to 1 year)

Requirements:

• University degree in aircraft engineering or relevant job experience
• Preferably experience in aircraft base maintenance, planning, design or manufacturing environment
• Good technical and mechanical knowledge and experience
• Preferably good knowledge of aircraft systems/avionics and interior
• Fluent in English
• Good analytical skills, methodical and well organized
• Preferably knowledge and experience with, ”MS VISIO” or equivalent application environment.

Tasks:

• Provide production with engineering services in LTSF
• Liaison with manufacturers, vendors, authorities and customers
• Design repairs & troubleshooting and perform compliance verifications
• Create and coordinate approvals for internally generated Engineering Orders to cover repairs, troubleshootings and modification
• Prepare reports and draft repair designs to OEMs for defects not covered by the available approved maintenance data
• Support production during implementation of new repair schemes, materials clarifications and reporting back to the OEMs for obtaining final approvals
• Support production in damages evaluations and rectifications
• Manage aircraft weight and balance calculations and Quality and Environment, health and safety requests
