Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics, TCCA AME-E

Toronto, Canada

About the position:

We are looking for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, AME-E to join our team

  •         Performs day-to-day on-aircraft Avionics troubleshooting and repair tasks
  •         Performs maintenance checks on Avionics systems including but not limited to communications,       navigation, autopilot, Pitot-static, radar, AC & DC power distribution and aircraft lighting
  •        Carries out various installations on aircraft
  •         Operates Avionics test equipment including air data test set, navigation and communications, ATC ramp    testers, and other electronic test equipment
  •           Performs all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness
  •           Ensures all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate before submitting to supervisor
  • -          Troubleshoots faulty systems to determine a course of rectification

Requirements:

        Hold a valid Transport Canada AME-E aircraft maintenance engineer license.

        Minimum 2 year of licensed AME experience and line maintenance experience is an asset

     Holding the following endorsements: B737-NG/MAX, A320 CL/NEO any additional is a plus!

          Be familiar with the appropriate parts of the MPM, MCM, aircraft operations specifications and maintenance manuals necessary for the performance of his/her duties;

-                            Applicant must be able to work independently and/or in a team environment and have good                               organizational skills, pro-active, result-oriented and strive for continued improvement

        Must have Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) including an airside driver’s permit (AVOP) for YYZ

-                           Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to company needs

-                            Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
