Bristow Norway is recruiting for a Chief Engineer

Bristow Norway currently operates a fleet of 27 Sikorsky S-92As from five onshore- and three offshore bases, from Ekofisk / Stavanger in the south to Hammerfest in the north.

We are recruiting for a Chief Engineer to be based in Bergen, the role will report directly to the Maintenance Manager NP-145 located at Sola.

The Chief Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance is conducted in accordance with organisation requirements, manufacturer manuals and system documentation, and will be in charge of all maintenance activities in Bergen, Florø and Hammerfest, and the management of shift supervisors in Bergen, and technicians in Florø/Hammerfest.

Key responsibilities for the role:
  • Secure adequate and efficient resource management aligned with the required activity level
  • Follow up and evaluation of "on time deliveries" and product quality
  • Ensure tool control is in compliance with the procedures
  • Initiate and follow up required training and coordinate with the Training Administrator
  • Suggest changes to Authorization Programs and participate in CT Board
  • Continuously evaluate requirements for tools, equipment and hangar installations
  • Establish efficient work schedules to ensure best utilization of personnel resources at all time
  • Initiate updating and establishment of maintenance procedures with focus on safety, HSE and correct working procedures according to manufacturer instructions
  • Follow up monthly result and performance
  • Manage or participate in projects and working groups as directed by Maintenance Manager
  • Set required standards for maintenance personnel and support the Assessors and the BBA process
  • Occurrence report processing and investigation
  • Audit facilitating and follow up

Preferred qualifications, knowledge, and skills:
  • Part-66 B1 / B2 license, or a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or other relevant technical engineering degree
  • Experience from working within Maintenance Organizations (Part-145) and/or Continuing Airworthiness Management Organizations (Part-CAMO)
  • Knowledge with relevant EASA legislation (Part-145 / Part-CAMO)
  • Relevant experience from maintenance engineering work
  • Good communication skills
  • Analytical and structured
  • Initiator and ability to work independently as well as in teams
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
