The Co-Pilot is the second in command of the INPO aircraft. They work alongside the Chief Pilot to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the flight. The co-pilot's responsibilities include monitoring the aircraft's systems, assisting with flight planning, conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections, and communicating with air traffic control and ground personnel. They also perform tasks delegated by the Chief Pilot and are prepared to take over control of the aircraft if the Chief Pilot is incapacitated. Co-pilots must comply with all FAA regulations and company policies, maintain proficiency in flight operations, and provide excellent customer service to passengers

Essential Functions
- Acts as Second in Command (SIC) for scheduled flights
- Maintains training and stays current in compliance with all aviation regulations and policies
- Assists in writing the Aircraft Schedule
- Assists Chief Pilot by remaining aware of the latest developments with the business aviation community, including: the FARs and other federal, state, local, and foreign regulations affecting operations
- Assists the Safety Manager, Training Manager, Standards Pilot, and back-up to Chief Pilot
- Maintains knowledge of Flight Operations Manual (FOM), ensures compliance, assists FOM update
- Makes necessary decisions to start, delay, or cancel flights, or deviate flights from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate
- Adheres to schedules and other directives governing aircraft operation
- Provides excellent customer service to passengers
- Fosters and maintains solid working relations with the aircraft owner and family
- Establishes and maintains positive relations with relevant company personnel
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education, Licenses, and Certifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1stClass Medical Certificate
- ATP: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate Airplane Multi Engine Land
- 1,500 hours Total Flight Time
- 500 Turbine Time
- 150 Multi-Engine Time
- No aviation related mishaps where pilot was deemed responsible
- Current U.S. Passport
Preferred
- ATP: Airline Transport Pilot and CFI (Certified Flight Instructor)
- 2,000 hours Total Flight Time
- 250 hours multi-engine (Jet)
- No mishaps or flight violations
- International experience
Experience
Required
- 4 years of proven safe flying experience
Preferred
- 7 years of proven safe flying experience
Additional Requirements
Work Context
- Must be able to work prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and crawl
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
