CESSNA CITATION EUROPEAN SERVICE CENTER, aeronautical maintenance / continuing airworthiness management company based at Le Bourget airport, is looking for a Crew Chief.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Crew Chief (M/F) manages a team and multiple projects, on aircraft from the Cessna Citation / Beechcraft / Hawker range.

These missions are carried out under the responsibility of a Technical Service Manager (TSM).

He/she is certifying staff.

JOB DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES:

The Crew Chief (M/F) performs the following minimum tasks:

I. Reporting to the TSM and coordinating with the Customer Service Managers (CSM), he/she :

a. Manages the hangar maintenance sites assigned to him/her, in order to achieve optimum productivity.

b. Manages the technicians or external contractors assigned to his work sites, in order to meet the scheduled delivery dates and times.

II. To do this, he/she :

a. Receives the visit file, checks its layout and usability, and manages the worksites in relation to the order forms / files prepared, and takes into account any revisions to customer order forms.

b. Distributes work among team members according to skill level

c. Coordinates and controls work carried out by other departments and/or subcontractors

d. Places parts orders

e. Carries out operations in accordance with visit files (inspections, etc.).

f. Checks and validates operations carried out by subordinates

g. Intervenes in troubleshooting operations and approved data searches.

h. Reports to superiors on progress and problems encountered, with a view to their resolution.

i. Ensures, at the end of the work, that the inspection files are in order, legible and in compliance with the regulations, so that they can be put back into service.

j. Can produce an SDR

k. He/she releases aircraft from the range indicated on his/her license.

III. maintains good communication with TSM/CSM on project progress, external supplier requirements and any problems affecting aircraft delivery date and time.

IV. He/she prepares the sequence of tasks to be carried out, using documentation written in English and consisting of rules and procedures.

V. Ensures that handovers are carried out and that work is completed/confirmed as the visit progresses.

VI. Replaces or repairs defective components, following technical documentation precisely and complying with safety instructions and deadlines.

VII. Ensures correct use of disassembly and reassembly tools

VIII. Correctly records and/or ensures the recording of all work carried out, ensuring that all corrective actions are recorded, including the AMM reference, P/N and S/N of parts installed/deposited

IX. Uses appropriate tools and ensures compliance with the rules in force for recording, checking the validity and maintaining tools in good condition.

X. He/she is responsible for the filing, order registration and archiving of release certificates for installed parts and components.

XI. Ensures that cores/parts returned in exchange are returned to the warehouse.

XII. Ensures proper segregation/identification of all parts and components on site, and scrap and/or mutiliation of parts.

XIII. Follows maintenance manual and MOE procedures, and attends all regulatory training courses on time.

XIV. Ensures that all tasks in progress have been completed, by recording instructions and/or completing tie-in instructions.

XV. Ensures that the team leader's toolbox and tools are properly managed, that any loss or damage is reported, and that the process for finding lost tools is followed in accordance with the anti-FOD policy.

XVI. Ensures compliance with the rules governing the use of the PPE provided.

XVII. Ensures that the work area is kept tidy and in an acceptable state of cleanliness in relation to the work in progress and ensures that any obsolete products are not used and are disposed of.

XVIII. Participates in the organization's SMS approach by contributing to the reporting of risks (Quality Risk/ Near Misses) and taking part in surveys.

XIX. Records and ensures the correct recording on SAP of each maintenance task performed, and contributes to the efficient work of his team.

Must hold an EASA B1 license with QT / C license

Beechcraft certications required

Minimum 8 years' experience

Knowledge of technical English required

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, in order to carry out the required maintenance tasks in compliance with best practice.

Knowledge of Part 145/SMS/FH/EWIS/CDCCL

Basic computer skills

Ability to manage and work as part of a team

Ability to work shifts

B driving license required

Attention to detail, rigor and flexibility
