From take-off to landing, Thales offers the most complete range of solutions to provide dynamic Air Traffic Services to support today's growing domestic and international travel requirements. Utilising this knowledge and experience Thales Australia will deliver a harmonised Civil/Military Air Traffic Management System (OneSKY) in Australia to Airservices Australia and Defence.
This will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes. OneSKY will transform Australia's sky and we are proud to be partners in its delivery.
Your role
Due to potential upcoming work, are seeking Expressions of Interest for Air Traffic Control Instructors.
As an Air Traffic Control Instructor on the OneSKY operational training team, you will provide specialist operational training analysis, curriculum design, training product development and training delivery for the OneSKY program.

Your role

As an Air Traffic Control Instructor on the OneSKY operational training team, you will provide specialist operational training analysis, curriculum design, training product development and training delivery for the OneSKY program.
Some key accountabilities include
- Conducting assessments on future required training (i.e. Training Needs Analysis)
- Developing the course curriculum and training materials (including practical simulation exercises) to satisfy the outcome of these assessments
- Delivering ATC systems training (including pseudo-pilot functions)
- Managing exercise environments
- Conducting training evaluations and reviews
- Providing ATC systems training advice to the OneSKY program
- Working to budget, quality and schedule requirements
On day one you will come with experience in:
- Prior experience delivering ATC-related training.
- Prior experience in developing aviation simulation exercises for use in a formal training environment.
- Prior experience in configuring and operating aviation simulation systems and interacting with simulation datasets.
- Prior experience working within an Airservices Australia/Defence environment, with operational ATC rating/endorsement experience within Tower/Approach and/or Approach/Enroute Control.
- Intermediate level skills in MS Office Suite of Tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
