you will provide professional technical support to meet customer requirements to ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship and/or Licensed Aircraft Engineer
  • 5 years' experience in aviation industry
  • Aged over 21 (aviation authority requirement)
  • Total quality principles, attention to detail and high level of concentration
  • PC literate

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Roles and responsibilities are conditional of gaining the associated Green Card Approvals
  • Provide In House technical support in the form of work instructions, log book reviews, investigation review/reports, manual updates & publication reviews.
  • Provide Customer technical support in the for of work instructions, response queries, produce finding reports and other relevant information required.
  • Active participation in the Material Review Board
  • Participate in the Technical Publication Review process and approve changes to in-house systems
  • Ensure technical documentation is updated as required
  • Participate in defect investigations and incident report investigations as required
  • Work with Commercial Teams to have a good understanding of cost estimate / Invoice process to avoid unnecessary / late cost escalation.
  • Work with Production and Commercial Teams to agree realistic (TRT) and promised delivery dates (PDD) with the internal and external customers when required.
  • Identify opportunities for business development within existing customer base reporting competitive activity
  • Coordinate the necessary preparations for field trips to ensure that all tooling and materials are sent to the location for the agreed start time
  • Assist with the Commercial Team and Production Team to ensure that all tooling, and if applicable materials, are returned to the shop on completion of project
  • Complete Visa claims and return all cash advances within the company targets
  • Participate in Out of Hours support

Approved Signatory Duties
  • Work pack review, ensure all entries in the Log Book are accutate including life limited parts are in line with Airworthiness regulations.
  • Calculate the life of limited and major components for entry into the Log Book
  • Complete the appropriate release certification in accordance with work completed.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITES
  • Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and regulations
  • Adhere to the Company Information and Protection Policy (IPP)
  • Comply with statutory requirements and regulations, Company requirements and procedures
  • Carry out any other reasonable request within current competence level
  • Assist in the training of team members ensuring best practice standards are maintained
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external departments
  • Identify opportunities for improvement processes in working practices and team efficiency
  • As part of our continuing commitment to delight our customers we provide Out of Hours Emergency Cover. You may be required to help provide this service by participating in an Out of Hours rota
