The SriLankan team is seeking dynamic experienced individuals to join us as:
Licensed Aircraft Engineer (Line/Base/Cabin)
Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) is responsible to perform Base Maintenance checks /Line Maintenance checks on company and customer aircraft in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner. Ensure that all aspects related to the technical dispatch of Sri Lankan A320 CEO, A320 / A321 NEO, and A330 aircraft comply with the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) rules and regulations, and per Sri Lankan policies, procedures, and approved quality standards, in keeping with the Company's Business needs.

NOTE: Grade will be decided based on the number of years of experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer and number of approvals.
The maximum age limit should be 55 years as of the application submission date.
Employment will be offered on fixed term contract.

Licensed Aircraft Engineer (Line/Base/Cabin)
Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) is responsible to perform Base Maintenance checks /Line Maintenance checks on company and customer aircraft in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner. Ensure that all aspects related to the technical dispatch of Sri Lankan A320 CEO, A320 / A321 NEO, and A330 aircraft comply with the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) rules and regulations, and per Sri Lankan policies, procedures, and approved quality standards, in keeping with the Company's Business needs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing activities on Company and other carriers as instructed by the Engineering Management, using approved methods, procedures, tools and spare parts whilst ensuring proper supervision and maintenance activities are performed in accordance with the regulatory requirements, quality and safety standards and active participation in audit preparation activities to ensure minimum audit findings in the section.
- Determine the work priorities and manage time and manpower efficiently in order to achieve work targets within the specified ground time, to accurately report on potential AOG defects during transits, short turnarounds arising from inspections and the progress on maintenance work thereby enable the Duty Engineer /Check Controller to make informed decisions regarding delays in order to take alternate arrangements.
- Ensure scheduled turnaround times (TAT) of maintenance inputs are achieved and perform training requirements/assignments to maintain sustainability within the organization.
- Ensure that the selected tasks on the discretion of the Engineer are assigned amongst Qualifying Mechanics/Inspectors and Technicians/Mechanics in a productive manner, guide them and monitor progress in order to meet the stipulated turnaround times.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance & 01 year experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer
- Hold an AML B1.1 or B2 License with active full type approval on one or more aircraft type [A330 (Trent 700) / A320 (V2500; CFM56-5B) / A320 NEO(Leap-1A)].
- Should be a Srilankan Citizen.
