KBFS is seeking a PC-12 Instructor Pilot to support efforts in Chirchiq, Uzbekistan.

Description:

KBFS Crestview supports U.S. Department of Defense in various training venues. Through our air advisor operations training, we have a requirement for PC-12 Instructor Pilot support. This position reports directly to the contract Program Manager. Training is normally conducted from Monday-Saturday. Weather cancellations may alter that schedule. Job requires presentation of a neat and well-groomed appearance, effective oral and written communications skills, and ability to demonstrate aircraft skills and expertise to meet all technical support requirements with professionalism.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for academic, procedures trainers, and flight instruction for Uzbek students.
  • Delivers academic instruction in a classroom environment with or without interpreter support.
  • Prepares daily discussions, plans, charts, or other supporting documentation.
  • Prepares daily briefings, debriefings, prepares weekly academic, and flying schedules (as required).
  • Conducts pre-mission preparations to include performance planning, TOLD, weather, Notices to Airmen (NOTAMS) review, risk assessment, contingency planning, and pre-flight inspection.
  • Instructs partner-nation fixed-wing pilots in initial, instrument and instructor (as required) qualification requirements.
  • Be able to maintain basic aircraft and IFR requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • PC-12 Instructor Pilot.
  • Must have prior military U-28 or PC-12 or equivalent experience (focused experience in the PC-12/47E or PC-12NG aircraft is preferred).
  • Must have been a military instructor pilot within the past 10 years.
  • Must possess a minimum of 10 years military aviation experience with a minimum of 1,000 hours in turbine aircraft.
