
Senior Engineering Digital and Processes Engineer
Role Introduction
Reports to: Engineering Transform & Digital Manager
Departments: ENG - Engineering
This role is part of our Engineering Department who are focused on reassurance, keeping our people and our customer’s safe, ensuring that in every aspect of our operation. we have industry leading performance and that our various fleet programmes are delivering to plan, budget and specification.
In this role, you will be delivering Digital projects enabling Engineering operations to deliver industry leading performance. Also, you will be repsonsible for providing data insights and analytics solutions to Engineering, which are too complex for business unit self-service, to support Engineering’s Digital Transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for :
- Developing digital solutions to address Engineering business problems
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Engineering and corporate analytics tools to other Engineering users
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the ENG data model to Engineering and other users
- Deliver a central data analytics service in Engineering, that meets the needs of Engineering business units for operational excellence
Requirements
- Typically, 6 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance and/or IT analytics. Relevant experience in data management related activities.
- Degree in Engineering / Aerospace/ IT Analytics discipline or a proven data analysis role.
- Proven experience in managing projects
- Strong knowledge in aspects of ENG processes.
- Experience in the use of IT data analytics tools and data preparation
- Good in communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Adaptable and responsive to change. Demonstrate ability to drive change.
- Able to collaborate multi-skilled teams.
