Senior Maintenance and Engineering transformation Engineer (Fixed Term Contract)

Engineering will be undertaking a significant project to replace the existing Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) IT system- Ultramain with a new M&E IT system. This is an opportunity to streamline business processes, adopt industry best practices and transform Engineering.
The role of the Senior M&E Transformation Engineer is a key position in the project team responsible for shaping the future Engineering processes, testing the software and validating data migration results. Also responsible for communicating, collaborating and driving the business units to the new process adoption, delivering benefits to engineering and the whole airline within the project budget and timeline
Key Responsibilities
- Be knowledgeable and a functional SME of the future M&E IT system,
- Support the definition of the optimum Engineering ‘to-be’ processes in the future state M&E IT system,
- Mange and deliver necessary change management actions to ensure smooth transition of to-be processes.
- Support the data migration activity, including scope, data mapping, transformation, testing, validation to ensure 100% data accuracy in the new M&E IT system,
- Support software functional test activities, test scripts, perform tests, acceptance criteria’s, prioritise and manage errors and overall BU sign-off.
- Support and define any software customization requirements, testing and sign off,
- Conduct system training to wider users including ENG, MRO, other business partners,
- Support cut over and Go-live activities, ensure a smooth transition to the new M&E IT system.
Requirements
- Typically, 6 years of related experience in implementation of large scale Engineering, IT change management projects,
- Degree in Engineering / Aerospace discipline or Aircraft Maintenance or other comparable qualification,
- Proven experience in supervising and managing projects and cross functional teams,
- Proven experience in managing diverse stakeholder groups,
- Proven ability to manage across departments and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs),
- Good in communication, influencing and negotiation skills,
- Drive for excellence,
- Adaptable and responsive to change. Demonstrate ability to drive change,
- Able to collaborate within multi-skilled teams.
