Senior Technical Services Engineer - eOperations and Avionics Projects
Role Introduction
Reports to: Technical Services Manager - eOperations & Avionics Projects
This role is part of our Engineering Department who are focused on reassurance, keeping our people and our customer’s safe, ensuring that in every aspect of our operation. we have industry leading performance and that our various fleet programmes are delivering to plan, budget and specification
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering eOperations and EFB support of the CX fleet, and managing Avionics work that is project based, common across multiple fleets, or customised for CX-tailored needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering operational performance of e-enabled system across all CX fleets meeting company target
- Ensuring compliance and on time delivery of Avionics Projects
- Managing the software configuration and Field Loadable Software process
- Ensuring compliance of the aircraft cyber-security requirements for Engineering
- Timely evaluation and management of Airworthiness Directives and vendor Service Bulletins
- Managing the OEM technical relationship management to ensure they effectively support the Engineering vision and goals
- Providing the operation with eOperations and Avionics specialist technical support
- Driving continuous process and productivity improvements
- Keeping abreast of industry best practice ideas and developments
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years' experience in Engineering role.
- Degree in Engineering or aerospace discipline or an equivalent professional qualification. Strong aviation engineering knowledge and experience, preferably in aircraft avionics and eOperation disciplines
- Holder of (or capable of obtaining) Design Engineer (DE) position in an HKAR-21 subpart J Design Organisation
- Strong supplier management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact and influence across Engineering sections, OEM’s, other operators, industry experts and regulators
