My client is looking Sheet Metal workers to join their team in Manchester and Birmingham on a permanent basis
Key duties include:
- Removal of major aircraft structural sections, whilst stress jacked.
- Working to fine tolerances and high standards.
- Upholding high standards of housekeeping.
- Adhering to company and manufacturers procedures.
- Implementing modifications from drawings and procedures.
Skills
- Completed aircraft engineering apprenticeship, production or Live aircraft.
- Ideally 5 years live aircraft and structures experience.
- Demonstrable experience in aircraft modification/production environment
- Experience of implementing and carrying out aircraft component modifications.
- Experienced and capable of reading manufacturers drawings and SRMs.
- Excellent hand skills
- Takes full ownership and responsibility for own tasks.
Salary £45,864 + £2.5K flex payment + other benefits
