Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aircraft maintenance or CAMO operations, with a B1/B2 license or strong technical background. A focus on SWISS-type ratings, decision-making under pressure, and a customer-oriented, team-driven approach is essential.
  • Extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and/or CAMO operations
  • Licensed Engineer B1/B2 or a strong technical aviation background is advantageous
  • Type ratings for aircraft operated by SWISS are preferred
  • Ability to perform under pressure with strong decision-making skills
  • Willingness to work for extended periods away from home base
  • Strong analytical mindset and process orientation
  • Team player with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Loyal, reliable, and responsible
  • AMOS knowledge is a plus
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German is an advantage

Tasks:

  • As a technical inspector for SWISS, you will oversee and ensure the successful execution of contracted maintenance events at Base Maintenance checks worldwide. Your role involves maintaining high-quality standards, managing timelines, and evaluating MRO performance throughout the process.
  • Serve as a technical inspector for SWISS during contracted maintenance events at designated Base Maintenance checks worldwide
  • Ensure maintenance events are performed to SWISS's quality standards and that aircraft are returned within the agreed ground time
  • Oversee the full status of the aircraft prior to and throughout the maintenance period
  • Coordinate with MROs to inspect both external and internal aircraft appearance upon arrival and during the maintenance process
  • Monitor and evaluate the maintenance event(s) against the agreed work package and man-hour allocation
  • Assess MRO performance using KPIs, the Continuous Improvement List, and the project Scorecard
  • Participate in project meetings and adhere to approved processes
