About This Role The internship program with the technical department offers numerous possibilities for personal development and increased chances for employment. The internship with CAE Kuala Lumpur brings multiple opportunities such as: <ul><li>Work in Multi-National Company in aviation industry.</li><li>Gain valuable experience and learn to adapt to workplace requirements that will prepare you for your future career.</li><li>Be part of a dynamic team operating and maintaining high-tech systems and equipment.</li><li>Develop your technical knowledge and expertise in multiple areas such as hydraulics, electromechanics, electronics, avionics, projection and visualisation, computers and IT, networks, software simulation and much more.</li><li>Learn how to perform a basic test flight on A320/ A330 and B737 aircrafts</li></ul> Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: <ul><li>Learn and be able to prepare the simulation training equipment for daily operation using standard operational readiness checks.</li><li>Learn and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with the published schedules for each training device.</li><li>Learn and carry out Qualification Test Guide (QTG) according to the established procedures.</li><li>Be taught to effectively check reported snags, verify simulator operation and rectify basic operational and maintenance snags.</li><li>Be taught and assist in the restoration of failed equipment or refer such failures to more qualified/experienced staff.</li><li>Learn and perform housekeeping functions and complete journey logs at the start and finish of scheduled training sessions.</li><li>Be taught and assist other senior engineers with maintenance, problem resolution and certification issues.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Ability to gain a technical college qualification.</li><li>Basic computing hardware, software and operating systems knowledge and experience.</li><li>Interest and ideally some experience in mechanical and electrical engineering systems.</li><li>Basic understanding and interest in aviation and aircraft systems.</li><li>PC skills (Word, Excel, etc.).</li><li>Excellent customer service attitude</li><li>MRO / Aviation / Electronic Lab/ Computer software / Networking (These skills can also fit for this position and open to hire them as well)</li><li>Fluency in English.</li></ul> ** Internship opportunities are available for 6 months ** Internship Allowance will be provided for the 6 months duration #LI-NY1 Position Type Student (Fixed Term) CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
