The Project Purchasing Manager (Buyer) focuses on regular purchases, which are supported by other Procurement team members in crucial purchases, key suppliers, and operational work methods. <h2>Tasks</h2>
Manage the procurement process for specific projects, from identifying required materials to final delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.

<li>Utilize the ERP system to create and manage supplier data and purchase orders, track order status, and monitor supplier performance.</li>
<li>Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services and manage any issues related to delays, quality defects, or discrepancies.</li>
<li>Oversee the invoicing process, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment to suppliers following agreed-upon terms.</li>
<li>Manage claims and defects by working closely with suppliers to resolve issues promptly and minimize impact on project timelines.</li>
<li>Coordinate transportation logistics, including arranging shipping and managing customs clearance procedures as needed.</li>
<li>Provide regular reports and updates on project procurement status, highlighting any risks or opportunities for improvement.</li>
<li>Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to understand project requirements, technical specifications, production schedules, and inventory management needs throughout the manufacturing process.</li>
<li>Engage in cross-functional meetings to coordinate procurement activities, address supply chain challenges, and identify opportunities for process improvement.</li>
<li>Ensure timely material availability by proactively communicating with engineering and manufacturing teams to anticipate material needs and optimize inventory management practices.</li>
<li>Organize and manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.</li>
<li>Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.</li>
<li>Work closely with manufacturing and R&amp;D teams to seamlessly provide and support production processes, ensuring alignment of procurement activities with production requirements and schedules.</li>

<h2>Requirements</h2>

<li>Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or similar.</li>
<li>Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management roles, preferably in a manufacturing or R&amp;D environment.</li>
<li>Proficiency in ERP systems for order management and reporting.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.</li>
<li>Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and the ability to proactively identify and address procurement-related issues.</li>
<li>Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs clearance procedures, and Incoterms preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Familiarity with LEAN production principles and their application in optimizing inventory management and production processes.</li>
<li>Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and experience implementing process enhancements to drive efficiency and reduce waste in procurement, supply chain, and inventory management operations.</li>

Project Purchasing Manager (Buyer) (M/W/D)

<h2>Tasks</h2>
The Operational leader is responsible for one or several work packages. S/He has to respect and to enforce (by the team and the customer) the work specification, the company technical offer and the contract. 
The main function is to manage all the activities related the work package (s), ensuring the terms regarding safety and performance defined in the work specification including the PRM as well as in the company offer (business model) : cost, time and quality.
Regarding the customer

<li>Adapt the HR according to the needs and the technical specification</li>

<li>Ensure availability of materials and resources/tools: Kits, PPE and technical documentation</li>
<li>Define and enforce workflow &amp; Processes according to contract requirements</li>
<li>Analyze and propose improvements and in case of deviation act to correct them</li>
<li>Ensure productivity and adapt the capacity to the workload</li>
<li>Ensure the project is within contracted Scope </li>
</ul>
Regarding the team
<ul>
<li>Be responsible for the administrative management of the team internal programs on daily basis: extra hours, validate holidays, absences etc.</li>
<li>Verify and validate the different elements of remuneration of the team</li>
<li>Analyze Skill gaps and initiate methods to improve skills within the team</li>
<li>Ensure the Qualification and Training Process</li>
<li>Perform regular evaluations in the team and the follow-up of trial period evaluation, annual performance review, adaptation period, etc.</li>
<li>Check the suitability of the type of contract (permanent/fixed-term/temporary/internship, commercial contracts for the Derichebourg staff and business contract for outsourcing of activities) according to the needs of each work package</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with health, safety and environment standards as well as FOD rules are respected within the team </li>
<li>Promote daily SQCDP &amp; weekly meetings with the staff</li>
<li>Enforce the Derichebourg internal rules, inform hierarchy in case of deviation, and enforce disciplinary measures if necessary</li>
<li>Ensure Weekly Planning of Resources</li>
<li>Responsible for social intercultural topics (Personal issues, Team building ,motivation, conflict management) within the team</li>
<li>Be the main contact person for the team members</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>

<li>Experienced in Managing and working with installation/removal of engine/Fan cowl projects" as preferable requirement</li>
<li>Trained Technical Engineer with 3 years’ work experience in the sector and minimum 3-5 years working in management</li>
<li>Good knowledge of the economical and aeronautical environment (customers and other stakeholders)</li>
<li>General aeronautical technological and technical knowledge </li>
<li>Willing to adapt to and improve internal procedures</li>
<li>Good knowledge of the management methods in creating bonds within the team</li>
<li>Experience in management of production activities</li>
<li>Familiar with computer programs: MS Office programs, SAP, and Airbus internal tools</li>
<li>Fluent in English, French &amp; German would be a plus </li>
