Aircraft Maintenance Technician B1 or B2

After working hard with your team to deliver a Boeing 787 to your customer in perfect condition, you wave it off with pride. On to the next team challenge: solve a complicated avionic task on the Boeing 777 that has just rolled in! As an Aircraft Mechanic, together with your team, you make sure that aircraft fly safely, smoothly and on time every day. You do this by carrying out maintenance work by the book. Of course in line with safety requirements and various regulations. You also make an active contribution to optimising the maintenance processes. Because by making our department structurally better, we can continue to live up to our position as a leading player in aircraft maintenance.

Tasks &amp; responsibilities

	<li>Ensuring (maintenance) processes on the ground run flawlessly</li>
	<li>Perform inspection, maintenance and modification work</li>
	<li>Carry out the work according to the required specifications and in compliance with the various regulations (such as those from the Safety Management System)</li>

As an Aircraft Mechnanic, you will work in shifts.

What else will you bring with you?

<ul>
	<li>Demonstrable relevant work experience as a licensed Aircraft Mechanic for one or more of the following aircraft types B737, B777, A320, A330 and/or B787. (A dossier/document check is part of the selection process)</li>
	<li>Good (technical) English, both written and spoken, is a must</li>
	<li>Good Dutch, both written and spoken, is an advantage</li>
	<li>Experience working in a team is a plus.</li>

Aircraft Mechanic

Thanks to you, our aircraft are safe and ready for use on time. You will ensure that maintenance in our hangars at Schiphol run flawlessly. By rolling up your sleeves, managing your team of technicians and keeping a watchful eye on things. Are you in danger of not achieving the desired result on time? Then you intervene immediately - because it is your and your team's responsibility to make sure the planes are ready in time for their next flight.

In addition:

	<li>with a Certificate of Release to Service, you decide whether aircraft are safe to fly;</li>

You are expected to be independent and your own input is important. As we are working on process improvements within the Airframe organisation, you are expected to be open to change.Contributing to the problem-solving, showing ownership, being solution-oriented and being stress-resistant play a major role in your daily work. It is also important that you have an eye for the correct application of safety regulations (SMS).

	<li>As a Lead Ground Engineer, you are fully part of your team. You help your team members to get the best out of themselves;</li>

	<li>Your team members are given the space they need to function optimally and know where to find you if they are at a loss;</li>
	<li>You hold a Part 66 AML (Aircraft Maintenance Licence B.1. or B.2.);</li>
	<li>Good command of (technical) English both spoken and written is a must.</li>
