JOB SUMMARY: To identify and correct malfunctioning jet, turboprop, and reciprocating multi-engine aircraft mechanical components and systems. Performs annual and progressive inspections as well as modification work on customer aircraft. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: <ol> <li> Performs a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more jet and/or turboprop, aircraft models involving diagnoses of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to customer. Requires thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components on all assigned aircraft. <ul> <li> Checks, corrects or replaces a variety of complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner system, pressurization system, and optional equipment installations. </li> <li> Repairs or replaces engine components and accessory items such as fuel control units, fuel injection system, air bleed system, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, and hydraulic and vacuum pumps. </li> <li> Requires knowledge of annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in aircraft maintenance manuals. Performs modification work on aircraft systems and structures. </li> <li> Responsible for clear, concise and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports and in parts identification for issue and return documents. </li> </ul> </li> <li> Conducts functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests and alignment, and preventive maintenance on same. Rigging, synchronizing of throttles, and setting the stops. </li> <li> May be required to observe operation of mechanical systems during flight and troubleshoot problems for in-shop repairs. </li> <li> Performs duties in a manner consistent with the latest state of the art and highest standards of safety for maintaining aircraft in the most airworthy and reliable condition for the customers' safety. </li> <li> Uses tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, and a variety of hand tools to repair and modify systems or assemblies. </li> </ol> <ol> <li> Must hold EASA B2 license, preferably with Textron Aviation models type ratings endorsed off. </li> <li> Citation certifications preferred. </li> <li> Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments necessary to perform job assignments. </li> <li> Must be able to read, write and understand English. </li> <li> Outstanding customer service abilities required. </li> <li> Allowed to live and work in Spain. </li> </ol>

Avionic Technician (B2)

Job Description: A new position has arisen as an Aircraft B1, B2, B1/B2 Maintenance Technician in Getafe for A400M MRO/Retrofit. Work based in Getafe and normally working on double shift. Working as LMA part of an Airbus Defence &amp; Space, will include the performance and certification of these tasks, including supervision and certification of unlicensed mechanics tasks. This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities. RESPONSIBILITIES -Execution of modification embodiment or repair working party, managing complex, high value and cross-functional projects compliant with EASA/FAR Part 145 airworthiness regulation. -Conduct upgrades embodiment activities on external customer aircraft. -Perform major and complex repair projects. -Performing and certification of both scheduled and unscheduled tasks previously agreed with the customer. The works included in the scope of this team will mainly consist on planned maintenance, SB coming from modifications not performed at Final Assembly Line or appearing after the delivery of the A/C, and from support asked by the Customer for different kind of repairs or maintenance tasks. The candidate may be required to coordinate small groups of non-licensed mechanics in the performance of maintenance activities. SKILLS <ul><li>EASA or EMAR Part 66 License B1, B2 or B1/B2</li><li>Type rating included will be a plus</li><li>Experience in MRO or/and retrofit would be desirable</li><li>Experienced working according SB and AMM documentation</li><li>Mechanical and structural knowledge shall be taken into account.
