As an MCC Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the aircraft's timely and safe release while maintaining airworthiness. You will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance providers, and other stakeholders to support efficient scheduling, defect rectification, and real-time communication.

We are seeking a full time B2 Certifying Engineer to join our dedicated Capability Development Team in Humberside. This is permanent post and will involve the Certifying Engineer conducting Base Maintenance activities including Major &amp; Minor Modifications on company Beech King Air Series aircraft along with other aircraft types, as well as ongoing maintenance or rectification as required to suit operational demands. The role will also be involved with the general day to day upkeep of the Maintenance Organisation, such as supporting cleanliness, tidiness and the upkeep of Maintenance facilities and equipment. The role's key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: <ul> <li>Supervision of non-licensed personnel </li> <li>Supervise electrical/avionics modification and integration activities on B300 along with other company aircraft </li> <li>Support modification, maintenance and rectification on PA31 and other company aircraft types as required </li> <li>Assisting with complex electrical/avionics modifications and repairs either on or off aircraft.</li> <li>Removal or installation of aircraft electrical/avionics components as required.</li> <li>Support with mechanical or electrical removals and installations as needed </li> <li>Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures </li> <li>Perform work in a safe and timely manner</li> <li>Support the cleanliness, tidiness and upkeep of Maintenance facilities and equipment</li> <li>Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required</li></ul> The following skills, knowledge and experience are essential for this role: <ul> <li>An unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B2 Licence (preferably with B300 type rating or similar) </li> <li>Received training at an aircraft technical school / or having completed an apprenticeship in the relevant field </li> <li>Have several years of avionics and wiring repair/modification experience or substantiated similar experience </li> <li>Have the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings </li> <li>Have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status </li> <li>Own a basic set of avionica/electrical hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of tools </li> <li>Demonstrate knowledge and use of avionics test equipment and electrical crimping tooling </li> <li>Demonstrable recent experience on B300 or similar </li> <li>In addition to the above, it would also be advantageous if you also currently hold a C License along with experience on Multi Engine Piston or Turbo Prop aircraft. </li></ul> In return we can offer you a competitive salary dependant on previous experience, generous holiday allowance, private health care, company pension and EV car scheme.
