<h2>Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.</li>
<li>Proven experience (2-5 years) in manufacturing operations, preferably in the aerospace or unmanned systems industry and/or aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul with an understanding of quality control and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of production processes, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing principles.</li>
<li>Knowledge of health &amp; safety standards, environment regulations, regulatory compliance, and ethical considerations associated with aerial military vehicles. English will be your working language. Dutch will be highly valued</li>

UAV Production Team Lead

<h2>Tasks</h2>
<p>An exciting opportunity to work as a <strong>Robotics &amp; Control Engineer</strong> solutions in an aerospace technology company. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of passionate GNC engineers and to contribute to GNC design and development activities. Working with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the Research and Development of guidance and navigation control systems and then on their deployment on final UAV products.</p>
<p>Define the Control Laws and Algorithm Architecture for the on-board automation systems including Flight Controls System, and Navigation System.</p>
<ul>
<li>Identifying possible failure modes and defining robust contingency Control Laws to maintain safe flight</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system engineers and mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to plan, design, develop, and integrate GNC solutions into UAVs.</li>
<li>Defining and running computer simulations for the platforms. (e.g. Matlab &amp; Simulink).</li>
<li>Work Package Management of a defined scope: actively driving the project work forward to achieve the agreed deliverables on time and to budget.</li>
<li>Ensuring the integration of the GNC algorithms with the embedded system and executing validation testing.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in one of the following: GNC Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering or Aerospace Engineering</li>
<li>3+ years of industry or postgraduate experience in GNC Engineering</li>
<li>Strong applied math foundations; ability to derive algorithms related to guidance, navigation and control (GNC)</li>
<li>Experience in linear and non-linear feedback control system design</li>
<li>Experience with Kalman filtering</li>
<li>Experience with sensor fusion algorithms</li>
<li>Experience with simulation development</li>
<li>Experience in C development for embedded systems</li>
<li>Experience with version control systems like Git, enabling effective collaboration and code management.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, crucial for algorithm development and data analysis.</li>
<li>Good communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and being able to manage teams of 2-3 GNC engineers.</li>
<li>Fluent English Speaker</li>
