Destinus R&D Team is searching for experienced engineers to take up the position of Turbomachinery Engineer. This is a key position for the development of our next generation of turbomachinery solutions. Do you want to help us drive the world’s energy transition and reduce emissions? Tasks
- Mechanical design of gas turbine components and assemblies
- Perform FEA simulations and basic calculations to support the design process
- Participate and/or lead technical investigations
- Set up and qualify suppliers and manufacturing processes in collaboration with our supply chain
- Setting up and managing development projects and tasks
- Mentoring of junior engineers
- Providing technical support to Supply chain, Operations and Field Service
Requirements
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with an MEng, MSc, or equivalent
- Working knowledge in mechanical design of gas turbine components
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Software skills including SolidWorks or equivalent
- Experience with FEA
- Knowledge about high-temperature materials is an advantage
- Knowledge about manufacturing processes is an advantage
- Experience from lifetime assessments of gas turbine components is an advantage
- Important competencies are: Written and verbal communication skills, Results-driven, Initiative, Knowledge, Problem-solving
