GA Telesis is seeking an experienced aviation professional with technical and commercial expertise to join our technical services team. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Aircraft Engineer's primary role will be to perform inventory audits and manage the follow-up of discrepancies. In addition, the role involves overseeing projects related to the Company's asset acquisitions, sales, leases, cargo conversion programs, and more.

The Aircraft Engineer will be responsible for identifying and researching technical matters, ensuring airworthiness of company assets and being on-site as a technical representative for such assigned projects, amongst other troubleshooting and project management responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Parts Inventory Leases:
  • Conduct detailed, systematic audits of all inventory items, aircraft components, spare parts, and other related assets on lease and follow up on discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance with lease and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify discrepancies between physical inventory and digital records, including missing items, incorrect classifications, or inconsistent stock counts.
  • Document and track all discrepancies, providing detailed reports on findings, assist in improvement implementations, and future prevention strategies.
  • Implement follow-up actions to resolve discrepancies, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly and thoroughly.
  • Prepare regular audit reports, summarizing findings, trends, and recommendations for management.
  • Analyze recurring issues in inventory discrepancies, providing insights for process improvements and long-term preventive measures.
Other Assets:
  • Review commercial aircraft, engine, APU and landing gear records to ensure company assets have complete documentation in support of business and regulatory requirements.
  • Projection & Planning of Engine Shop visit workscopes to meet Aircraft lease return conditions. Executes necessary engineering work required for enhancement of maintenance, repair and overhaul methods for power plant systems and components in coordination with maintenance personnel.
  • Defines all work and modifications required on unit going to maintenance providers for repair, overhaul or inspection. Provides detailed shop report analysis and manage specific repair procedures if necessary.
  • Prepares work scopes for all routine & non-routine maintenance requirements of Powerplant Systems including being on-site representative at third party maintenance providers.
  • Ensures all type of maintenance activities records are up to date.
  • Ensures all structural repairs have been applied in accordance with structural repair manuals and review all DFP's to verify physical status of the aircraft matches with technical records.
  • Check delivery & re-delivery agreements for technical acceptance and confirm compliance in accordance with agreements.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience at Aircraft and Engine Phase In/Out Projects.
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft, maintenance, and regulatory requirements with the ability to understand the details and judge the airworthiness and commercial impact of the topics.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills and good team player.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • No obstacles for international travelling, short and long-term out of office duties. Travel required around 50%.
  • Living in or willing to relocate to Antalya.
  • Free of the military service obligation for male candidates.
