ALG is offering an exciting opportunity for an Airworthiness and Compliance Manager to join a well-established organization based at Brisbane Airport. This permanent position provides the successful candidate with valuable exposure to the aviation industry.
The Airworthiness and Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Maintenance Program and all compliance technical records for our client's aircraft fleets.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and auditing aircraft technical records
- Allocating and providing resources to efficiently maintain aircraft compliance
- Continuously reviewing existing maintenance philosophies and processes for efficiency improvements
- Providing technical support for company projects
- Controlling and approving the Maintenance Program
- Coordinating maintenance software, including clean-up mini-projects
- Handling new aircraft template load management
- Assessing and approving alternate parts/tooling
- Coordinating and attending relevant meetings, and facilitating organization and department communications
- Managing safety and security in engineering operations
- Initiating, overseeing, and completing projects to support the Compliance department
- Undertaking projects as required by the General Manager of Airworthiness
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering operations, along with:
- Compliance experience
- Extensive knowledge of aviation legislation
- Demonstrated planning and cost control experience
- Strong interpersonal and staff management skills
- Strong analytical, reasoning, and lateral thinking abilities
- The experience and qualifications to be accepted by CASA as a Responsible Manager under Part 42
- Willingness to obtain an ASIC (airport identification)
- Ability to comply with medical requirements (drug/alcohol and physical tests)
