As an Airworthiness Review Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring validity of the aircraft airworthiness certificates. You will be responsible for conducting periodic airworthiness reviews of the aircraft and its continuing airworthiness records which results in the issuance of an airworthiness review certificate.
We will entrust you to
- Carry out reviews of aircraft records and aircraft continuing airworthiness record system
- Perform aircraft physical surveys
- Verify that the aircraft complies with Part-M and is airworthy at the time of the airworthiness review process
- Verify aircraft continuous compliance with relevant requirements during Airworthiness Review Certificate validity extension process
- Provide detailed information to the Airworthiness Review Manager regarding results of reviewed or/and surveyed items
- Issue Aircraft Document Review Compliance Reports, Aircraft Physical Survey Compliance Reports and Aircraft Acceptance Airworthiness Review Reports
- Issue the Recommendations for Airworthiness Review Certificate Issuance, Airworthiness Review Certificates and extend the validity of the Airworthiness Review Certificates
- Record the outcome of reviewed or/and surveyed aircraft in the respective report and sign it
- On Management request act as airBaltic Aircraft Acceptance Team member when airworthiness reviews are conducted during acceptance of aircraft to the company fleet
- Coordinate personal activities at the time of the aircraft airworthiness review process with a direct supervisor
What you will need to succeed
- Appropriate Part-66 category B1 or B2 or C aircraft maintenance license in the sub-category of the aircraft reviewed or engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components
- Command of English language
- Part-CAMO and Part-M, Subpart I training courses for Airworthiness Review Staff
- Knowledge of maintenance methods
- At least five years of experience in continuing airworthiness. It means any appropriate combination of experience in tasks related to aircraft maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness management (engineering) and/or surveillance of such tasks
- Ability to work in a team and individually
- Computer skills (MS Office)
