The City of Blair is seeking a reliable and proactive Assistant Airport Manager to join our team at the Blair Executive Airport! This full-time residency position offers the chance to play a key role in managing airport operations, tenant relations, and administrative functions. What You'll Do:
- Serve as the main point of contact for airport-related matters and liaise with tenants, the public, and the Fixed Base Operator (FBO).
- Assist with daily operations, including generating reports, addressing tenant concerns, and managing communications.
- Oversee grants and construction projects in coordination with the Airport Engineer, NDOT Aeronautics, and the FAA.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and support airport maintenance needs.
- Work with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure operational excellence.
- This is a full-time residency position with a duration anticipated to be 2-3 years at the discretion of the airport manager.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in Air Transport Administration, Aviation Management or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage tenant relationships and multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of airport operations and aviation regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
- A valid driver's license.
