The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a BE350 Pilot In Command (PIC) to support CONUS and OCONUS operations. The PIC will support contracted flight operations and must meet our high standards of aviator skill, safety, professionalism, and customer focus. Pilots may be required to live and work in austere conditions. In this role, the PIC will support all flight operational duties in the King Air 350 aircraft from flight planning, pre and post flight operations as requested by the Site Operations Manager (SOM) and the Leidos Program Chief Pilot. PIC's will operate aircraft in accordance with applicable regulations, and program/corporate policies and procedures.

Education
  • BA/BS Degree and eight (8) years experience. Additional experience may be used in lieu of degree.

FAA Requirements
  • 1,500 hours PIC total time
  • 300 hours PIC in a Super King Air 350 aircraft or similar type aircraft type.
  • Must possess a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • Must hold at least at least an FAA Commercial Airplane and Airplane Airman Certificate. Multiengine Land and Instrument Airplane Airman Certificate.
  • Proline 21 experience
  • Garmin G1000 experience

General Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a current passport
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license
  • Must read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must possess an active DOD security clearance at the SECRET level, or higher
  • Ability to successfully meet all contractual / program training and DoD medical requirements for OCONUS travel, COVID testing requirements, attending and successfully completing CONUS Replacement Courses (CRC) within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2,500 hours of PIC time
  • 500 hours of Multiengine
  • 200 hours of Instrument (actual) time
  • 500 hours Turbine time
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
  • Rating held for the last two (2) consecutive years
  • Former U.S. Military, Customs, DEA Pilot or US Contracting ISR Pilot
  • U.S. Military Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instructor Pilot, Maintenance Pilot
  • Prior OCONUS rotation experience, particularly in current area of operation
  • Active security clearance at Top Secret level

Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
