EuropeWe are seeking a CAMO Engineer to join one of our prestigious Clients on a permanent basis on the beautiful island of Malta!!
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure compliance of continuous airworthiness of the fleet
- Development and amendment of maintenance programmes
- Checking and updating of post-flight techlogs
- Management and archiving of all continuing airworthiness records
- Co-ordination with flight operations to ensure that they have the required maintenance status for flight scheduling purposes.
- Organising all scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance on company Aircraft as required for the safe operation of flights
- Ensure that all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the approved maintenance programme for that aircraft and is released in accordance with (EU) No 1321/2014, annex II (Part 145).
- Ensure that all defects reported or discovered during maintenance are corrected by an appropriately approved maintenance organisation
- Ensuring that defect rectifications are to an approved standard or are deferred i.a.w. the MEL / CDL requirements and that no postponement of such a defect is done unless in accordance with an approved procedure.
- Ensure that the mass and balance statement reflects the current status of the aircraft.
- Evaluation and scheduling of Airworthiness Directives and any other continued airworthiness requirements such as: CMR's, Life limited Parts, Airworthiness Limitations, etc.
- Evaluation and scheduling of non-mandatory modifications issued by the aircraft, engine, and component OEMs
- Management and supervision of maintenance inputs
- Correction of Audit findings as required
- Assist in the gathering of data required for the effectiveness and reliability analysis of the aircraft.
Requirements:
- An engineering or aeronautical degree or an Aircraft Maintenance License, B1,B2,C or equivalent
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of EASA regulations including: Part 145 and Part CAMO
- 2 years experience in a similar CAMO role or 5 years experience in a Part 145 organisation
- Proficient use of industry standard software (CAMP, Skylegs, Centrik)
- Proficient use of Office 365
- Excellent organisation skills and able to plan and prioritise effectively
