Job Summary:
Summit Air has an Opportunity for a Captain to operate our Dornier aircraft based in Northern Canada for one of our clients based at their mine site.

You are an experienced ATPL Captain with 3000 hours and have flown in Northern Canada. If you want to gain additional experience and diversify your type rating on the Dornier 228 aircraft, this position could provide the opportunity you are looking for.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Dornier 228 aircraft safely and efficiently throughout Northern Canada
  • Stay current with all available flight information, including weather, and applicable NOTAMs where available, and determine fuel and oil requirements
  • Complete the aircraft pre-flight inspection, as well as all post-flight duties

Requirements
  • Current Canadian ATPL
  • Minimum 3000 hours Total time and 1500 hours PIC & 500 Multi PIC
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven leadership ability
  • Commitment to safety culture
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements
