Avia Solutions Group R&D department provides services to subsidiary companies related to IT Governance & Management, IT Service Delivery, IT infrastructure services, workplace support and ServiceDesk, Enterprise Applications (Digital IT Solutions, ERP), Cybersecurity and PMO.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud security solutions to protect our organization's infrastructure, applications, and data. This role involves safeguarding our cloud environments (primarily Azure, with some exposure to AWS and GCP), ensuring compliance with security standards, and proactively identifying and mitigating security risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity team to develop and refine security requirements, translating them into actionable security controls and capabilities.
• Develop, maintain, and automate security architecture, controls, governance processes, and compliance validation for cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and other DevOps methodologies.
• Implement and maintain continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with a focus on embedding security practices and tools.
• Conduct security assessments and analyses for cloud-based applications and infrastructure, leading remediation efforts.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technologies, proactively introducing relevant innovations and improvements to the team.
• Respond to cloud security incidents and perform forensic analysis.
• Lead the adoption of best practices in zero-trust architectures.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and authentication protocols.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards.  
• Expertise in implementing security controls for VPCs, firewalls, encryption, and DLP.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Bicep, as well as configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as vulnerability scanners and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
• Ability to secure DevOps pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer).
• Experience designing and implementing zero-trust architectures.
• Proficiency in securing Kubernetes environments, including container orchestration and runtime security.
• Familiarity with securing serverless workloads (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Knowledge of integrating cloud security into Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) tools.
• Expertise in securing APIs, including OAuth, OpenID, and API Gateways.
• Understanding of securing hybrid cloud deployments.
