Avia Solutions Group (ASG) is seeking a Continuous Airworthiness Process Manager to lead the Group‘s strategy for streamlined continuous airworthiness operations and enable seamless aircraft transfers between its AOCs. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced manager with expertise in CAMO or related engineering functions, possessing strong leadership skills to drive standardization and continuous improvement in a multi-AOC environment.

Currently the Group owns 11 AOCs, operated by Avion Express, Smartlynx, KlasJet, Air Explore, BBN, Ascend Airways, Skytrans, and other ASG ACMI companies. These AOCs enable year-round services in more than 60 countries for various scheduled airlines and tour operators.

Location : Europe/ Preferably where ASG offices are located in Europe.

Travel : As necessary and when necessary, within Europe and beyond.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain a thorough understanding of continuous airworthiness practices across all Group’s AOCs.
  • Lead cross-company alignment and transition to shared standards for airworthiness, fostering collaboration among technical teams.
  • Establish the Group-level strategy and common principles for aircraft maintenance, record-keeping, and document management, which adhere to EASA and FAA regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive mapping of the airworthiness standards that are unique per AOCs due to specific local CAA requirements and make that an integral / transparent part of the overall Group’s continuous airworthiness strategy.
  • Establish clear standards, i.e. mandatory checkpoints, and procedures for transferring and accepting aircraft within the Group.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the aircraft transferring process within the Group, ensuring adherence to regulatory, legal/contractual, and other operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Systems Manager to transition all AOCs to a unified maintenance system, configuring the system to align with the Group-level continuous airworthiness strategy and principles as well as to facilitate seamless aircraft transfers.
  • Promote a culture of process excellence and adherence to the revised continuous airworthiness and internal aircraft transferring practices within the Group airlines’ technical departments.

Requirements:

  • Multi-year experience in continuing airworthiness management, with at least 5 years in a senior engineering role managing technical teams.
  • Relevant engineering or technical degree.
  • Experience in a fleet management role is considered an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Proven experience in leading significant changes and transformations within the organization’s technical domains.
  • Knowledge of both EASA and FAA regulatory environments.
  • Analytical mindset with a structured approach to tasks and a strong focus on documentation.
  • Familiarity with Maintenance Management Systems (preferable – AMOS) and other aviation software tools.
  • Experience working with performance management frameworks, either through design or practical application.
