Defect Control Engineer
First2 Resource partner company CRM is looking for Defect Control Engineer on behalf of our Australia-based client.
Main Duties:
• Identifies parts, specialized troubleshooting needed to rectify defects and monitors via TRAX
• Maintains a comprehensive log of TS efforts, rectifications, parts replacements on every Aircraft
• Inputs Maintenance requirements to populate Auto EMN
• Uses Skywise, CHRONICX, AHM etc. to mitigate aircraft reoccurring defects
• Assists our AMO team with troubleshooting aircraft defects
• Re-plan deferred defect tasks
• Liaise with LMP, AAC and AMO for hangar slots and manpower requirement for overnight and all-day lay-up defects
• Set priorities in ports for overnight defect acquittal
Role Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in a Heavy or Line Maintenance environment on company aircraft as an AME or equivalent; OR Higher education equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a team
• Demonstrate knowledge of PART 145 / 42 regulatory framework
• Understanding of TRAX, Skywise, AHM, AIRNAV, Rocade and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Proven record in initiative, determination, and achievement
