Summary:

Flying the left-hand seat of the E190, you will be the Commander who conducts yourself to the highest personal and professional standards at all times. Behind the controls, your focus is on delivering a safe, comfortable and on-time performance. As a leader and a team player, you set the example and help members of the Scoot team deliver the Scootitude experience to all passengers.

E190 Requirements:

Pilots with Jet experience:

  • Total Flight Hours of more than 3,500 hours on aeroplanes with Maximum Total Mass Authorised (MTMA) of 5,700kg or more  
  • Minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (exclude P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine jet, commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation.   

Pilots without Jet experience:

  • Total Flight Hours of more than 4,000 hours on aeroplanes with Maximum Total Mass Authorised (MTMA) of 5,700kg or more  
  • Minimum of 2,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (exclude P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine turboprop, commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation.   

Licensing Requirements:

  • A Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore issued ICAO ATPL (foreign ATPL will be required to undergo license conversion which requires an instrument rating and a proficiency check that has a minimum of 6 months’ validity).
  • Demonstrate the ability to speak and understand English with a minimum of ICAO level 4.

Training Co-Payment & Training Bond

  • Where applicable, successful candidates will be trained to acquire an Aircraft Type Rating for the assigned fleet.
  • Successful candidates who are provided with type rating training will be subjected to a co-payment of the training cost and will be required to enter a training bond.
