Responsibilities:

  • Managing the operational performance of the Ground Handling Agent (GHA) including safety, security and customer service.
  • Managing the daily duties related to the Hub Management function.
  • Focal point for HKA in terms of the daily operation when on duty.
  • Act as key HKA representative at Hong Kong Hub, in Airport Manager's absence.
  • Liaise closely with GHA Duty Manager, IOCC, ICC to ensure an efficient, safe and secure operation.
  • Oversee the customer experience throughout the customers' journey through the airport.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations (CAD and/or Hong Kong SAR Government), applicable standards (including IOSA, ISO) and company requirements with regards to safety, security, quality, and service.
  • Conduct self-quality, safety, security, and service level audits/inspections on all aspects of passenger handling operation in station as per Headquarters instructions and guidance.
  • Coordination of on-site crisis management in accordance with procedures established by the Corporate Safety Department.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years commercial aviation experience within an airport operations environment with at least 2 years at supervisory/management level.
  • Qualified to an advanced level in Passenger Services, Ground Operations, Baggage Tracing, Reservations & Ticketing.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
  • Experience of working in an operational airport environment.
  • An effective communicator able to work at all levels.
  • Passion for delivering the highest standards of safety, security, and customer services.
  • Confident in making quick decisions, sometimes with limited information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Willing to take shift duties.
