We are both a maintenance company and a cargo airline and are currently responsible for the aircraft maintenance of 32 Airbus A300-600, 5 Airbus A330, 32 Boeing B757, 26 Boeing B767 and 24 Boeing B777 at our locations in Leipzig, Frankfurt, Cologne and throughout Europe.

YOUR TASKS
- Monitoring and maintaining airworthiness in 24/7 operations, as well as ensuring punctual flight operations from a technical perspective.
- Ensuring compliance with all aviation regulations (LBA/EASA) and other approved internal EAT procedures (such as MOE, CAME) or those of the respective operators.
- Single point of contact for the managed fleets; continuous overview of the technical status, reporting of status, communication of acute changes to relevant departments, and technical support for the operators.
- Ensuring goal-oriented communication between MOC, FOC, and flight crews with the respective means according to internal guidelines.
- Monitoring ongoing and planned maintenance in the +72-hour range at all stations.
- Examination of incoming maintenance documentation, including the release of the aircraft (CRS).
- Acceptance of the aircraft for flight operations (according to process description - active handover to flight operations).
- Proactive management of emerging problems and hazards for punctual operation.
- Examination, assessment, and approval of the deferral of discrepancies, as well as monitoring of the corresponding entries into the MIS. European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH For internal use only TP_EAT_HR_037 | Rev01 2/3
- Continuous monitoring of deferred discrepancies and those resulting in operational restrictions for the operation.
- Support of support departments (including Engineering, STEP, AV, Logistics, Troubleshooting) to make the aircraft available to the network as quickly as possible.
- Communication with aircraft crews in case of technical problems to ensure reliable operation and prevent delays or cancellations.
- Assisting the "Daily Planner" in planning aircraft routes and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the aircraft is operational within the planned schedule and available to the DHL network.
- Ensuring solution-oriented communication between all departments involved in the fault resolution process (AOG Recovery).
- The Duty Manager MOC is always able to provide information on ongoing AOGs.
- Ensuring rapid restoration of airworthiness through effective coordination and monitoring of the AOG situation.
- Examination and approval of short-term requested aircraft changes.
- Notification to the maintenance operation in case of changes in flight planning. Tracking and management of technical delays.
- Coordination and support of third-party activities as needed at external stations. Team duty and vacation planning with the Manager MOC.
- Planning of the team's training and further education with the Manager MOC. Taking on special tasks, participating in cross-functional projects, and contributing to the development of internal processes.
- Completed degree or extensive relevant professional experience in aviation.
- Minimum of five years of experience in the field of aircraft maintenance or aircraft maintenance.
- Knowledge of aviation laws (EASA, LBA regulations), airworthiness, and operational procedures during flight operations.
- Understanding of aircraft maintenance intervals, maintenance planning, and coordination of maintenance work.
- Holder of a Part 66 CAT B1 or CAT B2 license for aircraft maintenance.
- An EAT-relevant type endorsement or equivalent is desirable.
- Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, effective communication.
- High resilience and the ability to assess problems and make timely decisions in stressful situations.
- Structured approach in a complex environment while adhering to priorities.
- Proficient in English both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with MS Office and programs such as AIMS, TRAX, AMOS, Netline is desirable.
- Service orientation and customer-focused behavior.
