Electroplater

ALG is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electroplater to join our client at Tullamarine Airport. This role is a contracting role with the potential for conversion to a permeant role depending on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Interpreting technical drawings.
• Undertaking manual handling on a frequent basis.
• Ensure that all work is being completed safely and effectively.
• Plan work activities.
• Communicating information and organising with other stakeholders.
• Utilising various computer technologies.
• Operate power and hand-held tools.
• Maintain process capability in the second samples.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A trade qualification in Electroplating.
• Electroplating and Anodising experience (Aviation experience desirable, not essential).
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work full time hours (38 hours per week +).
• Electroplating and Anodising experience

The successful candidate will receive:

• Pay rate of $62.5 p/h + Super (11.5%).
• Exposure to working with a leading airline.
• OJT training.
• Monday to Friday (Day shift) work roster.
