YOUR TASKS:

  • To be responsible for the review of all technical records during engine and engine module acquisitions, repairs, and sales.
  • To analyze engine records to ensure accuracy and completeness regarding paperwork and records that are required to determine the airworthiness and future marketability of the engine, module, or piece parts.
  • To Review, audit, and compile the data to include Life Limited Parts, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, operating history and shop visit documentation for accuracy, completeness, maintenance condition and build standard.
  • To research and analyze historical records for engines being considered for purchase or sale.
  • To take a leading role in all engine record problem resolution and following up to ensure resolutions are obtained in a timely manner working with both internal and external sources.
  • To present the information obtained from record reviews in a logical and ordered way for management to make decisions on asset purchases and sales.
  • To prepare and provide the MRO, Buyer, or Lessee with copies/links for the Engine Records relating to Engine Purchases, Lease Returns and Shop Visits.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Work experience: Aviation experience with an engine MRO or airline and in-depth knowledge of aircraft and engine records requirements and processes including electronic recordkeeping systems is a must.
  • Ability to read and understand technical data (Maintenance Manual Programs, Engine Maintenance Manuals, and relevant technical data);
  • English language proficiency: Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • MS Office package knowledge: Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Negotiation skills: Must be able to interface professionally, credibly, and objectively with colleagues and external contacts.
  • Ability to work independently: Resourcefulness, to able to solve problems with minimal supervision, and self-directed and willing to take the initiative.
