About the Role

As a Captain, you will:
  • Take full command and responsibility for the safe, efficient operation of each flight.
  • Lead by example, ensuring service standards consistently exceed expectations.
  • Execute duties specified in our Operations Manuals with precision and professionalism.
  • Maintain schedule integrity while upholding the highest safety standards.
  • Apply advanced Non-Technical Skills (NTS) to foster teamwork and operational success.

About You

We're seeking Captains who are collaborative and thrive on teamwork, who appreciate the value you can add in a leadership role, and excel in a dynamic environment. To be successful, you will need:

Qualifications:

A current ATPL issued by the NZ Civil Aviation Authority or the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia, with eligibility for a New Zealand ATPL.

A Type Rating on the B737 NG, with recent experience (within the last 5 years) including:
  • 6,000 hours Total Time
  • 3,000 hours on Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA)
  • 1,000 hours PIC on B737 NG type, or
  • 2,000 hours PIC on types over 50 tonnes MTOW.

Location Flexibility:

Currently reside or be willing to relocate to Auckland or Christchurch.
