Join the ITility team and make a difference! ITility seeks a talented Functional Check Flight Special Mission Aviator to support our contract with the United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE). This position will support the 56 Rescue Squadron operations as a HH-60G/W Special Mission Aviator performing duties as Instructor and Functional Check Flight (FCF) Aircrew. Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel required.. This role will sit onsite at Aviano, Italy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform instruction/training duties as a current/qualified HH-60G/W Special Mission Aviator (SMA) to support USAF personnel. Instruction/training includes, but is not limited to: Basic aircraft flight currency (i.e. contact maneuvers, instrument approaches and emergency procedure training), Ground instruction (i.e. systems training briefings), Basic Functional Check Flight (FCF) qualification training.
  • Functional Check Flights (FCF) performed in accordance with Air Force Technical Order (AFTO) 1H-60(H) G-6CF-1 and TO 1H-60(H) G-6CL-1, including ground runs which may or may not culminate with actual flight.
  • Maintenance Test Flights (MTF)/Operational Check Flights (OCF) performed in accordance with AFTO 1H-60(H)G-1 and TO 1H-60(H)G-1-CL-1, including ground runs which may or may not culminate with actual flight.
  • Acceptance Test Profiles (ATPs) performed in accordance with AFTO 1H-60(H) G-6CF-1 and TO 1H-60(H) G-6CL-1 prior to aircraft release from depot-level maintenance.
  • Maintain HH-60G/W aircrew qualifications and currencies.
  • Maintain current Class II FAA Flight Physical.
  • Other reasonable job duties applicable to your role and location in support of the mission objectives.


Qualifications

  • US Citizen; active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Current Class II FAA Flight Physical.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours as Flight Time.
  • Minimum 300 hours as an HH-60G FE/SMA or other US/MH/SH/HH-60 variant.
  • Currently qualified as aircrew in the HH-60G or able to complete USAF qualification/requalification training at Kirtland AFB NM if qualification has expired or not previously USAF qualified in the HH-60G.
  • Currently or previously USAF FCF certified in the HH-60G.
  • Currently or previously USAF Instructor Aircrew qualified, or able to complete USAF Instructor Aircrew qualification training.
