Forklift Operator & Warehouse Officer

ALG is partnering with a reputable aviation client to recruit multiple Forklift Operators & Warehouse Officers for positions based at Brisbane Airport.

This role involves a mix of forklift operation and general warehouse duties, offering an ongoing casual contract with full-time hours and the potential for permanent placement based on performance.

Shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday, alternating between day and night shifts (7:00 am - 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm).

Hourly Rates:

• Day Shift: $36.00 + Super
• Afternoon Shift: $38.00 + Super

Key Duties:

• Operating forklifts to transport and store aviation materials
• Managing stock movement within the warehouse
• Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently
• Ensuring accurate inventory control and stock management
• Conducting general warehouse housekeeping and maintenance
• Following safety procedures and maintaining compliance with aviation regulations

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• A valid Australian Forklift License (LF or LO)
• Experience in warehouse/stores operations, preferably in aviation or logistics
• Full working rights in Australia
• Willingness to obtain an ASIC (airport identification)
• Ability to work on a rotating roster, including occasional weekends
• Capability to pass medical requirements (drug/alcohol and physical tests) at own expense
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety
