Avion Express is a narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) and charter operator. Avion Express provides top-level short and long-term aircraft wet-leasing (ACMI) solutions and also offers its clients aircraft on a charter basis. The company operates an Airbus A320 family aircraft fleet.

Avion Express is looking for ambitious professionals to support the company's matters and further development of the company. The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

ARE YOU READY TO?

  • Compliance program implementation, annual review and control to ensure that the organization meets all applicable requirements and all internal processes performance is in accordance with approved procedures in all relevant fields of maintenance activities including ensuring compliance with current requirements of the Maintenance Program;
  • Control that all contracted activities, such as maintenance, training, etc., will be performed in accordance with signed agreements;
  • Together with Head of Operations Compliance creating of annual compliance monitoring audits and inspections plans and presentation of them to Accountable Manager for approval;
  • Performance of the compliance monitoring program: compliance monitoring audits and inspections according to the plans, filling of compliance monitoring documentation, control of appropriate and on time performance of corrective actions and evaluation of corrective actions effectiveness through the follow-up process;
  • Auditing of contractors/subcontractors, with which Avion Express/Avion Express Malta has a signed or plans to sign a contract;
  • Collaboration with TCA/TM-CAD and national aviation authorities of other countries;
  • Responsible together with other departments to ensure the prerequisites for the continued validity of the air operators’ certificate and other company approvals;
  • Ensuring communication and coordination with operational managers in the management of operational risk;
  • Dissemination of information to management and non-management operational personnel as appropriate to ensure an organizational awareness of relevant compliance monitoring issues and results;
  • Providing information about changes in organization to TCA/TM-CAD ;
  • Continuing airworthiness division staff organization personnel qualification checking;
  • Liaison with regulatory authorities, original equipment manufacturers and other operationally relevant external entities;
  • Issuing and prolongation of certification and ARC authorizations;
  • Auditing of maintenance organizations, with which Avion Express/Avion Express Malta has a signed or plans to sign a contract for performance of maintenance for Avion Express/Avion Express Malta aircraft;
  • Ensuring that the organization is always in compliance with PART CAMO, PART M, IOSA MNT and PART 145;
  • Ensuring constant review and handling regulation publications (from TCA, TM-CAD, EASA, ICAO, IATA ) and dissemination of the information throughout organization.

Qualification requirements:

  • Previous experience in Compliance/Quality related field (2+ years);
  • Managerial experience (2+ years);
  • Knowledge of Compliance Monitoring and Safety Management systems;
  • Knowledge of EASA and ICAO requirements;
  • 5 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position;
  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices;
  • A relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education;
  • A comprehensive knowledge of relevant parts of operational requirements and procedures;
  • Knowledge of safety management systems based on the EU management system requirements (including compliance monitoring) and ICAO Annex 19.
  • At least general familiarization training on Airbus 320 Family aircraft;
  • Knowledge of the English language;
  • Knowledge of maintenance methods;
