Human Resource Business Partner

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced HR professional to join a growing aviation company in Brisbane.

About the Role

The HR Business Partner will support the organisation's operations by leading end-to-end HR activities, including:

  • HR policy, and compliance
  • Talent acquisition and workforce planning (Australasia)
  • Onboarding, engagement, and offboarding (end to end employee lifecycle)
  • Performance management and employee relations
  • Industrial relations
  • Learning, development, and culture-building initiatives
  • Payroll involvement and HRIS support
  • Legal compliance
  • You'll support leaders across the business to embed HR practices that align with the company's culture and strategic direction.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a trans-Tasman or complex operational setting
  • Strong working knowledge of both Australian and New Zealand employment laws Experience in performance management, conflict resolution, recruitment, and return-to-work processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence managing sensitive situations with discretion
  • Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to align people initiatives with business outcomes
  • Experience in the aviation or cargo sector is highly regarded.
