Inventory Officer / Stocktake

ALG is seeking candidates for a short-term contract with our defence client based in Canberra, commencing mid-August.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive audit of aircraft components, tools, equipment, and materials for disposal, documenting each item with specifications, condition reports, part numbers, and serial numbers.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and environmental standards during the audit and cataloguing processes.
• Assist with the transportation and storage of catalogued items.
• Generate progress reports on audit activities, cataloguing efforts, and logistics arrangements.

Position Details:

• Start Date: Mid-August
• Duration: 6 weeks
• Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Pay: $38 per hour + super

Qualifications:

• AGSVA security clearance (highly desirable) or ability to undergo a background check
• Capability to pass a DAMP test
• Experience in aviation and/or inventory management
• Full working rights in Australia
