Logistics Coordinator

ALG has a great opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established commercial organisation based at Tullamarine Airport working in their component maintenance shop. The position will give the successful candidate the chance to get hands on exposure and the opportunity to work in a busy environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Logistics Coordinator role within a relevant industry to aviation. This contract offers a Monday to Friday shift pattern. The shift time would be from 0700 to 1530 with the opportunity for OT.

This role has no end date and is expected to become a permeant role directly with our client within 12 months.

To be considered, you will require the following:

• Relevant industry experience in Aviation (desirable).
• Intermediate IT skills.
• Degree or Trade Qualification in aviation or a similar industry.
• Experience in analysing supply chain stock levels.
• Experience working in a 5s environment.
• Prior experience placing purchase orders with suppliers.
• Strong aptitude for technical and compliance related work.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and adhere to all safety requirements.
• High levels of attention to detail.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to undergo a full security clearance process.
• Willingness to undergo Drug and Alcohol testing.

The successful candidate will receive:

• Hourly pay rate of $55 + Super
• Exposure to working with a leading airline.
• OJT training.
• Monday to Friday (Day shift) work roster (consistent hours).
• No end date in the contract.
• Ability to convert to a permanent role with our client.
