Mechanical Technical Officer

ALG has a great opportunity for a Mechanical Technical Officer join a well-established commercial organisation based at Tullamarine Airport working in their component maintenance shop. The position will give the successful candidate the chance to get hands on exposure and the opportunity to work in a busy environment.

This contract offers a Monday to Friday shift pattern. The shift time would be from 0700 to 1530 with the opportunity for OT.

This role has the potential to convert to a permanent role directly with our client based on performance and attitude.

To be considered, you will require the following:

• Relevant industry experience in Aviation.
• Australian based trade qualification or Aerospace degree.
• Experience working to CASA and or FAA standards.
• Strong aptitude for technical and compliance related work.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and adhere to all safety requirements.
• High levels of attention to detail.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to undergo a full security clearance process.
• Willingness to undergo Drug and Alcohol testing.
• Demonstrate full compliance with all work rules and regulations.
