We will entrust you to

  • Provide inspired leadership within the airBaltic Operational Control Center (OCC), upholding to our brand values and overall standards
  • Oversee and coordinate all operational activities, ensuring efficient performance of OCC agents throughout the shift
  • Make strategic and precise decisions in handling irregularities to maintain the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and punctuality while optimizing financial outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, airline policies, and safety management system standards, recommending updates if necessary
  • Identify operational challenges and opportunities, reporting them to the Direct Supervisor for resolution
  • Act as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and Special Assistance team, ensuring safety and well-being of passengers and crew
  • Cover for Flight Coordinators (FOC) when needed, ensuring uninterrupted operational continuity

What you will need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or Logistics
  • At least 3 years of experience in airline industry
  • Excellent skills in aviation operations management and service provision
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications (particularly Excel and Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Latvian and English; fluency in other languages will be considered advantage
  • A combination of strategic, operational, and commercial thinking
  • Ability to manage conflicts, solve problems proactively, and make independent decisions
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong internal and external relationships
  • Experience in crisis management and ability to execute contingency plans effectively
